Position Highlights Balanced patient volume: See an average of 16–18 patients per day, allowing time for quality care and meaningful patient relationships Strong team-based model: Work within a collaborative care team of 4 clinicians supported by 1 LVN and 4 CMAs, ensuring smooth patient flow and strong clinical support Dedicated MA support: Each provider is paired with their own Medical Assistant Outpatient-only role: 100% clinic-based with no hospital rounding, inpatient coverage, surgeries, or call Comprehensive pediatric care: Provide well-child visits, acute care, chronic disease management, preventive services, and family education Flexible scheduling: Choose between a four 10-hour shift schedule or a traditional Monday–Friday schedule based on provider preference and clinic needs Convenient clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM New-grad friendly: New graduates welcome with a structured onboarding, precepted clinic time, and ongoing mentorship from experienced pediatric providers Supportive practice environment: Join a stable, not-for-profit health system with a strong focus on quality, safety, and patient-centered care Great for work-life balance: Predictable clinic schedule with no evenings, weekends, or call requirements JOB SUMMARY The Nurse Practitioner (NP) Primary Care is a licensed, certified, non-physician healthcare provider who actively renders direct patient care and possesses delegated prescriptive authority, is credentialed and privileged, and whose service is billed as an independent billing provider, as recognized by Medicare and Medicaid within the healthcare systems, and in accordance with the appropriate board. The Advanced Practice Provider provides medical care based upon the scope of practice as delineated by the supervising physician. These providers typically provide care to patients in an internal medicine, family medicine, geriatric or pediatric clinic.
