About The Position

General Orthopedic Surgeon PRN - Brighton, Colorado When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” You’ll practice big-city medicine with a small-city feel. About this role: This is a PRN General Orthopedic Surgeon position to help cover 24-hour call coverage at Platte Valley Hospital, a level III trauma community hospital in Brighton, CO. The team consists of 3 orthopedic surgeons, 3 podiatrists and 5 experienced APPs. Longer coverage gaps may be available for covering total joint arthroplasty clinic and OR duties, depending on timing. An ideal candidate will be board certified in Orthopedic Surgery with a desire to take orthopedic trauma call and work PRN with a variable schedule. Call consists of 24-hour shifts: weekdays, weekends, or weekly, covering level III community trauma. There will be no hand call or spine call. The DPMs take all foot and ankle calls. Any fellowship training or general orthopedic surgeons are encouraged to apply. Requirements
