About The Position

The General Operator position at Corteva Agriscience involves supporting various aspects of seed production throughout the seasons. The role requires adaptability to changing tasks and responsibilities based on seasonal demands, including seed inspection, harvesting, packaging, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in all weather conditions
• Previous experience in agriculture or manufacturing (preferred, but not required)
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and tasks
• Must pass background check and pre-employment screenings
• Reliable transportation to the work site
• Ability to work long hours, including overtime when needed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Receive and process crops, operate dryers, shell & store crops during Fall (Sept-Oct)
• Label, tag, bag, and palletize seed, enter inventory info during Winter (Nov-Mar)
• Retag seed, inspect pro boxes, and wash equipment during Spring/Summer (Apr-Aug)
