Job Description Summary Operates power-driven presses to stamp or perform other shaping operations. Operates machines until accurate production has been achieved.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret job orders and blueprints.
Ability to comprehend and apply common sense understanding simple, oral and written instructions in the English command.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of multi-slide machines and tools, a plus.
Knowledge of calipers and micrometers, a plus.
Company certification on fork lift, a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality conformance on all product run.
Read and understand blue prints and work instructions.
Use of inspection tools to check parts. Throughout day check parts at press.
Handling of raw material to load and unload coils.
Communicate with supervisor to aid in increase of production and quality.
Needs to complete daily logs and repot production in MRP system.
Keeping presses running thru out day
Maintain the department/ work area clean and organized.
Follow ISO/IATF, safety, and environmental procedures as well as department and corporate policies and procedures.
Stop/report production if quality is not to standards and report to shift supervisor.
