Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous warehouse, packing, or shipping experience preferred
Ability to follow written instructions and packaging standards
Basic math skills for counting, verifying quantities, and completing documentation
Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification)
Basic computer skills for shipping systems and documentation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Packaging Operations: Package finished products and components according to work instructions, packaging standards, and customer requirements.
Material Preparation: Assemble boxes, crates, pallets, and protective packaging materials to ensure safe transport of goods.
Product Inspection: Visually inspect items prior to packaging to verify quality, completeness, and accuracy.
Labeling & Documentation: Apply shipping labels, barcodes, and documentation accurately; ensure proper identification of materials and shipments.
Shipping Verification: Verify quantities, part numbers, and packing lists to ensure order accuracy before shipment.
Material Handling: Move packaged goods and materials using pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (if certified).
Inventory Support: Assist with staging, organizing, and maintaining shipping and finished goods areas.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Housekeeping: Maintain a neat and orderly packing area in alignment with 5S and lean manufacturing standards.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shipping, production, and warehouse teams to meet daily shipment goals and deadlines.
