Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, technical documents, and safety data sheets (SDS)
  • Basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials accurately
  • Ability to safely operate production and material handling equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing, production, or epoxy/coatings experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking preferred

Responsibilities

  • Epoxy Preparation & Application: Accurately measure, mix, and apply epoxy resins, hardeners, and related compounds according to work instructions, specifications, and production schedules.
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for epoxy application through cleaning, sanding, masking, or other required methods to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain production tools and equipment such as mixers, dispensing systems, spray equipment, ovens, and curing systems in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects, thickness, consistency, and overall quality; document and report any non-conformances.
  • Material Handling: Safely handle raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress items using appropriate material handling equipment.
  • Documentation: Complete production records, batch logs, inspection forms, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Compliance: Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and environmental regulations related to chemical handling and hazardous materials.
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Wear required PPE, maintain a clean and organized work area, and properly store chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
