About The Position

United Health Services is actively recruiting a General Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) (Outpatient) to join our Neurology Department. The position will support a robust Neuroscience Service Line that includes Neurosurgery, Cerebrovascular/ Stroke, Neuro Critical Care, Neuro Radiology, and Non-Operative Spine/Pain Management departments. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a dedicated outpatient Neurology practice or a combination inpatient/outpatient Neurology practice. Must be board certified and NY State licensed.

Requirements

• Board certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Licensed to practice in New York State.
• Experience in neurology or related field preferred.

• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with the latest neurological treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the outpatient neurology practice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the Neuroscience Service Line.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about neurological conditions and treatments.
