About The Position

The OSF HealthCare Illinois Neurological Institute at Saint Francis Medical Center is seeking an outpatient Neurologist to join a multispecialty neuroscience program. All subspecialties are welcome to apply. Access to major subspecialties represented includes Epilepsy, Headache, Movement Disorders, MS/Neuroimmunology, and Neuromuscle. The institute is the only Level 4 Epilepsy Center and certified Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Center outside of Chicago. There are academic opportunities with Neurology residency and Neuroscience APP fellowship programs through the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. The position offers a strong referral base from OSF Medical Group and Primary Care physicians in the area, along with leadership opportunities available.

Requirements

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
• Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
