This position involves leading a team of hourly team members, planning daily/weekly workloads, and driving process improvements to enhance workload efficiency. A typical day includes executing daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals, educating team members on operational procedures, and collaborating with all teams to ensure the store is guest ready.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 18 or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
• Effective communication skills.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement.
• Educate team on operational procedures affecting inventory management and store profitability.
• Assess reporting to identify gaps in GM processes and develop a plan to resolve.
• Lead daily execution of tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, and organizing the backroom.
• Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns.
• Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes.
• Model a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and engaging with them.
