About The Position

Follett Higher Education supports over 6 million students through its 1,100 physical and 1,750 eCommerce campus stores across North America. The General Merchandise (GM) Pricing Manager will oversee the development and execution of data-driven pricing models, lead cross-functional pricing projects, and mentor pricing specialist(s), while partnering closely with GM Sourcing teams to achieve business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Merchandising, or related field.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in retail pricing, merchandising, or financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience working with large datasets and retail systems.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and technical skills with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive issues to completion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL, JDA-MMS, and Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage promotional pricing, discounts, and markdown strategies to maximize sell-through. Oversee price changes, ensuring accuracy across POS and online systems.
  • Implement pricing tools, systems, and governance processes.
  • Manage and mentor Pricing Specialist(s), providing guidance on best practices in pricing execution.
  • Support corporate IT systems by monitoring pricing data flow and assisting investigations.
