About The Position

Rosauers Supermarkets is opening a new location this June and is seeking enthusiastic team members for the General Merchandise Clerk position. This role offers the unique opportunity to join the pre-opening team, with training beginning before the store opens and involvement in store setup to ensure an exceptional customer experience from day one. Multiple roles and shifts are available. Requirements

Candidates must be 18+ years or older
Complete a pre-employment background check
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. at times.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming products and following stocking and product rotation procedures.
Ensure all products are neatly shelved, in their appropriate places, and rotated properly to guarantee freshness.
Conduct regular inventory checks and restock merchandise as necessary.
Ensure all items are accurately priced and labeled.
Hang price tags and facing products.
Develop display techniques for effective merchandising.
Assist customers with location products, answering questions, and providing recommendations as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization including shelves, displays, and surrounding areas.
Check on recalls; removing product and returning as directed.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
