Requirements

Associates Degree in industrial maintenance, completion of a mechanical apprenticeship, or relevant experience
Experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to lift or move 50 lbs, climb stairs and ladders
Action oriented - must be able to recognize issues and seize opportunities
Team player willing to assist others in completion of tasks
Drivers license required

Nice To Haves

Chemical manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Independently install, modify and maintain equipment, following procedures and documented maintenance schedules
Observe equipment for mechanical or other issues and self-initiate corrective measures
Comply with critical Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
Interpret schematic drawings and vendor documentation with comprehension to perform required tasks
Understand and perform detailed machine shop practices with quality and precision
Design, plan and construct special devices, supports and components for equipment as required
Withdraw equipment, components and materials from inventory system and order materials as required
