Requirements

  • Associates Degree in industrial maintenance, completion of a mechanical apprenticeship, or relevant experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift or move 50 lbs, climb stairs and ladders
  • Action oriented - must be able to recognize issues and seize opportunities
  • Team player willing to assist others in completion of tasks
  • Drivers license required

Nice To Haves

  • Chemical manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Independently install, modify and maintain equipment, following procedures and documented maintenance schedules
  • Observe equipment for mechanical or other issues and self-initiate corrective measures
  • Comply with critical Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Interpret schematic drawings and vendor documentation with comprehension to perform required tasks
  • Understand and perform detailed machine shop practices with quality and precision
  • Design, plan and construct special devices, supports and components for equipment as required
  • Withdraw equipment, components and materials from inventory system and order materials as required
