Your Journey Perform a variety of skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of the property Maintain and troubleshoot equipment associated with guestrooms and public spaces using proper tools and procedures Perform assignments as directed by the Director of Engineering Perform preventative maintenance when required and assigned Repair all malfunctioning mechanic devices Respond to repairs regarding carpentry, electrical, plumbing, carpeting, painting, and maintenance Respond to guest room calls and assists guests with room issues Deliver on guests' expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the scope of duties, based on business needs About You You are passionate about providing exceptional service and creating memorable moments You have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment, as well as work independently You are dependable and comfortable working holidays, weekends, and overnight shifts You have a positive attitude and are highly skilled in customer service and guest recovery You have the ability to multi-task in a high volume and fast paced environment You are open to learning, developing, and growing both yourself, personally, and helping others do the same You are trustworthy and have integrity

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum one year of job-related maintenance or engineering experience; luxury hotel experience strongly preferred
  • Certification from Technical Maintenance Trade School preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and speak, read, write and understand English
  • Must have extensive knowledge and skills of construction trades including electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, locksmith and carpentry; must have experience with wood touch ups, wood refinishing, and wood repair.

Nice To Haves

  • luxury hotel experience strongly preferred
  • Certification from Technical Maintenance Trade School preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities
