General Mechanic/Backup Propane Driver - As Needed

About The Position

The mechanic position is asked to perform a wide variety of tasks. These tasks may include general maintenance of equipment and the facility, changing of oil and tires on equipment as needed, diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues and provide support as directed by the location manager. The mechanic will be asked at times to fill in for LP drivers or help during the busy season.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, 2 years’ experience in mechanics.
• Have or be willing to obtain a CDL License
• Able to sit, bend and reach overhead as part of daily activities
• Able to lift 60+ lbs.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues
• Provide routine inspections of vehicles
• Keep an accurate log of all work performed
• Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are kept in a safe and usable condition at all times
• Adhere to company work safety policies
