About The Position

Lakeside Book Company is the largest book manufacturer in North America, dedicated to keeping the world reading. The General Material Handler, also referred to as a Manufacturing Associate, will be responsible for feeding book sections into binding machines and moving books from the production line to stack them into boxes. This role emphasizes working in a team environment and offers cross-training opportunities. No prior experience is necessary, as the company provides all required training to ensure success and map out future career paths within the organization. Requirements

Must be able to Lift and carry up to 50 pound
Must be able to stand for the entire duration of your shift

Responsibilities

Feed book sections into binding machine
Move books from the production line and stack into boxes
Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
