Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is actively seeking an experienced General Manager to join our mission of ensuring that every guest and teammate has an awesome experience and is excited to return. As an industry leader in the Dine-In Theater space, we pride ourselves on providing a unique environment where movies, special presentations, and creative culinary experiences come together. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the team, upholding our company values, and ensuring that our standards of quality and service are consistently met at the highest level. This position requires a champion for our people, someone who can develop their teammates to achieve efficient and profitable operations while fostering an awesome work experience. The General Manager will be responsible for the financial health of the venue, including understanding and analyzing the Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, identifying areas of opportunity, and developing short and long-term plans for revenue growth and cost control. This role also emphasizes optimizing the guest experience, ensuring guest satisfaction is a top priority, and proactively identifying methods to enhance the overall experience. The General Manager will lead and influence the management staff, cultivate a strategic team environment, and provide direct supervision and development to the Assistant General Manager and Kitchen Manager. In addition to operational responsibilities, the General Manager will be expected to maintain high scores for venue inspections, ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed, and develop a succession bench to increase engagement and retention within the team.
