About The Position

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall operation and profitability of one restaurant while meeting the company's high standards of cleanliness, attitude, product, and service. This position requires the manager to ensure that each customer's visit meets these standards and to oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of all employees in the restaurant. The manager will also interface with corporate and regional office employees, customers, and suppliers as necessary to achieve required results.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be or be willing to become ServSafe Certified.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Prior restaurant experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for profitable operation of assigned restaurant.
• Accurate reporting and documentation of all accounting and personnel activities.
• Achieving all operational and cost control criteria as established by upper management.
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, attitude, product, and service for each customer visit.
• Hiring all hourly employees and assisting Area Supervisor in hiring management employees.
• Training, scheduling, and supervising all employees in the restaurant.
• Compiling data and reports as required.
• Inventory control and counts, cash control, banking, cash register readings.
• Cooking projections, receiving and storing products, arranging for repairs and maintenance.
• Interviewing, hiring, training, disciplining, counseling, and terminating employees.
• Scheduling management and hourly employees, performance reviews, payroll input.
• Sales mix reports, cost control, and ordering all product.
• Handling other assignments and special projects as directed.
