About The Position

The General Manager at KFSK Community Radio is responsible for overseeing the station's operations, ensuring its relevance to the community, and managing various administrative, financial, and personnel functions. Requirements

• Proven experience in management, preferably in a media or broadcasting environment.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and cash flow management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and community stakeholders.
• Knowledge of FCC regulations and compliance requirements.

• Background in program development and content creation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all radio station activities, staff, and volunteers.
• Prepare and submit annual budgets to the Board of Directors.
• Manage cash assets including payables, receivables, payroll, and benefits.
• Implement the Board's Personnel Policies and manage employee evaluations.
• Work with the Development Director to meet revenue targets through various means.
• Support the Program Department in areas such as program supervision and volunteer coordination.
• Ensure proper maintenance of broadcast and office equipment.
• Represent the interests of the Narrows Broadcasting Corporation before the public and other organizations.
• Prepare meeting agendas and provide updates to the Board.
