About The Position

The position involves managing all functions of the restaurant to ensure high-quality customer service and product delivery while maintaining profitability. The manager is responsible for executing fast and accurate sandwich preparation, providing world-class customer service, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment during shifts.

Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language fluently and clearly.
  • Strong math abilities in addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages.
  • Understanding of personal computer use and various software such as Excel and Word.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and have close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a staff of 3 Assistant Managers and approximately 25-30 employees, assigning, overseeing, and evaluating work for compliance.
  • Manages hiring, training, evaluating, discipline, and termination of employees.
  • Provides on-the-job training for new employees.
  • Delegates and is responsible for the ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies to minimize loss from waste or theft.
  • Assists in the supervision, preparation, sales, and service of food.
  • Forecasts food items by estimating the amount of each food item that will be consumed per shift.
  • Supervises food preparation and service operations while on duty, assisting during rush periods to maintain restaurant efficiency.
  • Assists customers with greeting, taking orders, using the cash register, assembling orders, and checking for completeness and correctness.
  • Ensures that every customer receives world-class customer service.
  • Routes deliveries and supervises drivers to maximize delivery business and speed.
  • Completes daily food preparations including opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, and bread production.
  • Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness.
  • Completes daily, weekly, and periodic paperwork with accuracy.
  • Controls inventory using a weekly inventory system and maintains regular inventory ordering schedules.
  • Conducts weekly manager meetings.
  • Audits systems and procedures as well as shift-ending paperwork.
  • Completes preventative maintenance and upkeep on store equipment and supplies.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers during the shift.
  • Manages deposits and change orders per Deposit Operating Procedure.
