About The Position

As a General Manager, you will oversee the entire shop, including sales, production, and human resources. You will also have the privilege of developing other Krispy Kremers. General Managers set the tone for an enjoyable and efficient environment! They also have a great understanding of our delicious doughnuts and production processes.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Joyful charisma and strong enthusiasm.
  • Basic knowledge of computer office technology.
  • Knowledge of sales, management, production, and customer service.
  • Adaptable and creative in navigating various situations.
  • Flexible to work on weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Set the tone for guest satisfaction and serve as a role model to the team.
  • Handle difficult situations in a professional way within the shop.
  • Supervise and observe all shop operations, ensuring everything is in great condition.
  • Work closely with the District Manager to achieve business plan objectives and profitability.
  • Lead sales programs, including Hot Light times, retail sales, fundraising, and special event sales days.
  • Maximize efficiency in daily production to improve shop performance.
  • Understand quality control procedures and coordinate doughnut production schedules.
  • Inspect and assess production/equipment issues and promote safety and cleanliness.
  • Develop and encourage employees through hiring, interviewing, training, supervising, scheduling, and providing performance feedback.
  • Manage income and expense budgets (Accounts Payable/Receivable) and report sales and other important information.
  • Lead the team to success by modeling company standards and expressing efficiency, organization, and communication.
  • Assist team members with tasks such as carrying or lifting boxes up to 75 pounds, boxing up doughnuts, or cleaning the shop.
  • Track orders and ensure they are filed correctly for fulfillment.
  • Be willing to travel periodically as required.
