Requirements

  • 5+ years of dealership leadership experience (GM or high-level GSM experience preferred)
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue and net profit
  • Strong understanding of Ford operations and manufacturer relationships
  • Experience managing a full P&L
  • High-level leadership, accountability, and recruiting skills
  • Data-driven decision maker
  • Strong communication and team-building abilities

Responsibilities

  • Direct oversight of Sales, Service, Parts, Finance, and Fixed Operations
  • Hire, develop, and hold accountable department managers
  • Establish aggressive but achievable performance goals
  • Create a culture built on urgency, integrity, and execution
  • Own the dealership P&L and departmental budgets
  • Drive variable and fixed operations profitability
  • Monitor expense control and maximize net-to-gross
  • Improve inventory turn, aging, and overall asset management
  • Ensure strong new and used vehicle performance
  • Oversee inventory management and pricing strategies
  • Maximize F&I penetration and profitability
  • Drive digital retailing and online lead conversion
  • Increase service absorption
  • Improve technician productivity and retention
  • Monitor CSI and customer retention metrics
  • Ensure warranty compliance and operational efficiency
  • Maintain exceptional CSI standards
  • Represent Preston Ford in the local Aberdeen community
  • Build lasting customer and business relationships
