Position Summary: The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation management of single store or multiple stores in a single market. This is accomplished by following the direction set by the Vice President of Operations in the areas of inventory, sales, and profit. Complying with policies and procedures, monitoring key employees, controlling inventory purchases and levels, and developing sales and communication are all components of this position. Effective communication with the field, internal departments, and external vendors are mandatory for the success of this position.
