About The Position

The Stir General Manger is responsible for leading and collaborating with food and beverage/culinary management team and hotel staff to ensure the successful operation of a three-meal restaurant. This role focuses on driving guest and hotelier satisfaction while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility. The Stir General Manager is a key ambassador for Eau Resort and Spa's values and beliefs, ensuring a memorable and high-quality experience for guests and staff alike.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Minimum 3 years luxury management experience.
  • Manager's food handling certificate.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Prior experience in 4/5 diamond, 4/5 stars restaurant
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments, delegate work.
  • Ability to direct performance of staff and follow-up with corrections where needed.
  • Ability to motivate staff and maintain cohesive team.
  • Ability to ascertain training needs and provide such training.
  • Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems by exercising good judgement.
  • Ability to understand guests' service needs.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize service requirements at all tables in assigned station.
  • Ability to maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
  • Ability to focus attention on details.
  • Ability to suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverages and wines.
  • Ability to access and input information into P.O.S. system.
  • Ability to direct timing and performance of Servers, Food Runners and Server Attendants in providing quality service to guests within assigned station.
  • Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly.
  • Ability to exert physical effort in transporting food and beverage guests.
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Basic wine knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Food and Beverage supervisor or Assistant Manager, preferably in a Five Star/5 Diamond hotel/resort/luxury restaurant.
  • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
  • Forecast experience.
  • Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish.
  • Certification in alcoholic awareness program.
  • Certification in C.P.R.
  • Computer training.
