About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated leader with strong interpersonal skills to drive client-centric, sales-focused results as the General Manager of a premier fitness studio located in the heart of Katy, TX. In this role, your primary focus will be studio growth, including increasing membership through lead follow-up, community networking and engagement, client retention, satisfaction, and staff development. Unlike many organizations, this role offers direct performance-based incentives tied to studio success. Work hours are flexible and will vary based on business needs and team priorities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of management and fitness sales experience preferred
  • Nationally recognized personal training certification required (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, CSCS, ISSA, NCCPT, NCSF, ACE, etc.) or a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science
  • Experience in a stand-alone, high-end fitness facility strongly preferred
  • Background in pre-sales or fitness-related sales environments
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a fitness team of two or more individuals
  • Passion for helping others achieve health and wellness goals
  • Strong consultation and sales skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in fitness, education, or professional settings
  • Ability to recruit, train, coach, motivate, and evaluate staff
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong financial, business, and human resource acumen
  • Proficiency with computers and standard business software
  • Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

  • Drive membership growth with a target of 150 active members or more
  • Deliver premium client engagement, including InBody assessments, goal setting, and a relationship-based client experience that fosters a strong community of support and accountability
  • Oversee staff scheduling to meet operational needs while maintaining payroll budget compliance
  • Train, coach, and supervise staff to ensure excellence in daily operations, membership sales, and retention
  • Conduct regular team meetings to support performance and alignment
  • Monitor and mentor staff to ensure services meet company standards, policies, and procedures
  • Establish and prioritize goals to enhance member satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall retention
  • Communicate consistently with team members and franchise ownership
  • Demonstrate resilience, grit, and perseverance in achieving long-term goals
  • Analyze challenges and implement solutions that improve sales performance and member satisfaction
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
