About The Position

The General Manager will sell homes manufactured by Cavco Industries to builders/developers, company-owned, exclusive, and/or independently owned retailers by performing the following duties. Drive business growth through developing new customer relationships and expanding business with existing customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with a team of supervisors, managers, administrative staff, factories, vendors, community managers to promote a highly responsive teamwork that meets the service levels of our clients. Focus on achieving the profit plan for assigned division to ensure accuracy of sales numbers, margins, expenses and overall profitability. Develop key account relationships. Lead organization and attend trade shows. Schedule sales meetings, coordinate reps and plan logistics of trade show materials. Provide insight on market trends and opportunities. Ensure all customer service issues are resolved.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Business, Sales, Marketing or relevant, related degree
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in retail store functional management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including being able to prepare presentation materials and present the information one-on-one and in a group.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
