About The Position

We are a busy, well-established truck repair shop dedicated to providing high-quality service, fast turnaround times, and exceptional customer care. We are looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations.

Position Overview:
The General Manager will be responsible for managing shop operations, leading staff, ensuring profitability, and maintaining high service standards. This role requires strong hands-on leadership, operational knowledge, and experience in the automotive or heavy-duty truck repair industry.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in a management role (automotive or truck repair preferred)
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Solid understanding of truck repair operations (mechanical, body and mobile)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage budgets and improve profitability
• Ability to multitask and solve problems under pressure

Nice To Haves

• Experience with shop management and estimating systems a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations and workflow
• Manage and lead technicians, service advisors, and support staff
• Ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction
• Monitor financial performance through efficiency, productivity, cost controls
• Handle customer concerns and build long-term relationships
• Maintain inventory, vendor relationships, and parts ordering
• Maintain high standards for safety and ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Oversee day-to-day shop operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity
• Hire, train, and develop team members
