About The Position

Seva Hospitality is a vertically integrated hotel construction, development, and management company specializing in delivering exceptional properties for leading brands including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Choice Hotels. With a commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence, Seva Hospitality oversees every stage of the hotel lifecycle — from ground-up construction and strategic development to day-to-day management — ensuring long-term value and guest satisfaction across its growing portfolio. As a General Manager for the brand-new Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Troy, OH, scheduled to open in 2026, you will be hired in the pre-planning stages. This role offers the opportunity to apply and strengthen leadership skills by assembling a team of 15 members and assisting above-property support with the initial setup and ramp-up of hotel sales. This is a significant opportunity to lead an opening team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years Hotel Management Experience.
  • Proven record of independent, self-motivated work habits.

  • Execute reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ability to focus on the big picture as well as individual results.
  • Possess the ability to maximize hotel revenue through defined market segmentation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of operations by exercising demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of hotel management, including sales and marketing, human resources, food and beverage, budget and forecast management, rooms, housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Provide the vision, leadership and strategy to inspire associates to deliver exceptional service and drive financial success.
  • Execute successful sales and marketing campaigns, understand dynamic revenue management and drive profit to the bottom line through strong financial controls.
  • Build a rapport with ownership, partnering closely to understand their priorities and exceed their expectations.
  • Assemble a team of 15 team members.
  • Assist the above property support with the initial setup and the ramp-up of hotel sales.
