About The Position

As the General Manager of Thesis, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the world's leading personalized nootropics brand. You will be responsible for developing strategic plans, driving P&L performance, and executing growth initiatives across our omnichannel business. Your expertise in P&L ownership, marketing leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious growth goals. Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, you will drive roadmap execution, establish operational KPIs, and position Thesis for continued category leadership. Your ability to operate strategically while executing tactically will be crucial in accelerating our mission to bring personalized cognitive enhancement to millions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of overall work experience including experience in a GM, growth, or operations role at a high-growth company.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate both established corporate environments and agile startup dynamics.
  • Previous experience in health/wellness, CPG, and/or DTC e-commerce as a brand manager, product manager, or general manager.
  • Proven success in owning a P&L and driving business unit KPIs in a growth-stage environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to build both tactical budgets and long-term strategic growth plans.
  • Experience managing brand evolution from early-stage through scaling, ideally in personalized or science-backed products.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and drive consensus across stakeholders.
  • Passion for cognitive enhancement, neuroscience, or related fields that drive our mission.

  • Previous startup experience strongly preferred; experience in venture-backed companies a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own Business Performance: Assume P&L ownership for Thesis, driving revenue growth, profitability, and key business objectives aligned with our strategic vision.
  • Execute Strategic Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans and budgets, including channel expansion, retail partnerships, and market development initiatives.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Excellence: Drive alignment and execution across product, marketing, operations, and customer experience teams to advance high-value initiatives.
  • Drive Marketing Strategy: Take ownership of marketing strategies and initiatives across DTC, retail, and emerging channels, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Build for Scale: Establish systems, processes, and organizational capabilities that enable sustainable growth from our current base toward category domination.
  • Champion Customer Obsession: Maintain relentless focus on customer outcomes, product efficacy, and exceptional experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Leverage Data for Growth: Utilize extensive e-commerce, CPG, and health/wellness sector experience to identify opportunities and optimize performance.
