About The Position

At Einstein Bros. Bagels, the company believes in the bagel and has been baking them fresh daily since 1995. They aim to spread joy and happiness through their products and are committed to work-life balance for their team, with stores closing at 2pm. The General Manager role is challenging, overseeing all aspects of the store with a "treat it like you own it" philosophy. The position operates on a one-shift model, with leaders starting as early as 4am for the first bake and store opening. During the day, the GM ensures the store is audit-ready, executes catering, mobile, and in-store orders, and provides an exceptional customer experience. GMs are hands-on, assisting in all positions during rushes, managing breaks, and working to improve customer survey results. After the 2pm closing, it typically takes 30-45 minutes to close and prep for the next day, with administrative tasks like scheduling, ordering, or inventory often handled before opening or after closing. The daily deposit is taken to the bank, ensuring the GM is done well before dinner time. The company provides 5 weeks of training for this role.

Requirements

1-3 years prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting
Hands-on operator
Ability to simultaneously motivate and inspire the team to fun-ness
Tried and true strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets
Must be at least 18 years old to apply
