The role requires a proven track record of successfully managing operations and meeting financial goals, strong leadership skills to motivate and develop a diverse team, and a solid understanding of financial reports, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, inventory management, and profitability analysis. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to handle high-volume days, be physically active (walking five miles a shift), and work an average of 50-hour work weeks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, customers, and vendors, as well as familiarity with health and safety regulations and labor laws in the restaurant industry, are also key.
