Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of automotive dealership leadership experience, with prior General Manager, General Sales Manager, or Fixed Operations Director experience
  • Proven track record of driving profitability, volume growth, and CSI improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing management teams
  • Strong working knowledge of Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance operations
  • Financially driven leader with experience managing P&L, budgets, forecasting, and KPIs
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, competitive data, and performance metrics to drive results
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to set expectations, hold leaders accountable, and execute initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

  • Experience in a multi-store or dealer group environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all dealership operations, including sales, service, parts, and administration
  • Drive sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction (CSI) across all departments
  • Develop, coach, and hold accountable department leaders to achieve performance goals
  • Establish and execute strategic plans aligned with dealership and group objectives
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and operational data to inform decision-making
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and employee retention
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain the dealership’s reputation for excellence in customer experience and community presence
