About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to join our leadership team at Chick-fil-A Green Mount Commons. As the second-in-command to the Owner/Operator, the General Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the entire restaurant operation. This position is ideal for a leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow with one of the most respected brands in the restaurant industry. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity designed to develop and refine your skills while offering a clear path for professional advancement. You will be empowered to make decisions that impact every area of the business as if you were the franchise owner. The General Manager will lead a team of three executive directors and six restaurant directors, to maximize restaurant metrics, people development, and connect with the local community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (highly preferred)
  • Previous experience in leading teams of other leaders/managers with proven results and people development
  • Analytical mindset, data-driven approach when making decisions
  • Hospitality Experience
  • Desire for a long-term career within Chick-fil-A

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Chick-fil-A leadership experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily operations, ensuring excellence in food safety, customer service, speed, and hospitality
  • Lead and develop the restaurant’s leadership team across the Front of House, Back of House, and Administrative departments
  • Manage and inspire a team of 100+ team members, driving alignment with core values and operational goals
  • Build a high-performance culture by coaching leaders, holding teams accountable, and providing clear direction
  • Promote food safety and workplace safety through consistent systems and team training
  • Drive profitability by identifying operational inefficiencies, reducing waste, and supporting strategic growth initiatives
  • Foster a healthy team culture by addressing performance and interpersonal issues directly, using established coaching frameworks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads, contributing to high-level planning, team meetings, and long-term goal setting
