About The Position

As a General Manager at Ono Hawaiian BBQ, you'll orchestrate a seamless dining experience, utilizing your adept management skills to ensure smooth operations. Requirements

  • May require a minimum of three years’ management experience in Ono Hawaiian BBQ.
  • Mastery of both front and kitchen operations.
  • General knowledge in business management.
  • Food Manager Certification required by the state or local health department.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Ability to operate and manage one location independently.
  • Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handling payment, serve food to customers.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Intermediate math skills, Sufficient English written and verbal communication skills, & basic computer skills For Business Needs, and familiarity with internet and email communication.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Strong leadership and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage store operations, paperwork, and email communication.
  • Complete the order form(s) for front, kitchen, office, and beverage inventory.
  • Interview, hire, train, manage, supervise, discipline, and evaluate employees.
  • Interact frequently with the district manager and Region Manager regarding management, operation, safety, and any other issues or concerns.
  • Complete Reports to the Management and Corporate office.
  • Understand, comply with, enforce, and train all store level employees on health codes and safety procedures.
  • Understand, comply with, enforce, and train all store level employees on company policies and procedures.
  • Understand, comply with, enforce, and train all store level employees on Front Crew Training Guideline and Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local laws regarding employment, hiring, firing, discipline, scheduling, and oversight.
  • Provide customer service, greet customers, and assist customers with their orders.
  • Execute marketing programs and implement new product items.
  • Perform cashier closing and daily closing procedure at the end of each shift or day and ensure employees to comply with company cash handling procedures.
  • Perform food preparation, stocking of inventory, food quality and portion control when cooking and serving food at the cookline.
  • Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure the food is served accurately and timely to customers.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the store by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
  • Handle and resolve employee and customer complaints and issues.
  • Schedule and coordinate meal and rest periods to comply with all legal requirements.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and input data to Total Sales and Food Cost Form (OD009).
  • Help complete the office and food Inventory Count Form every quarter.
  • May handle petty cash as designated by District Manager.
  • Manage day-to-day activities and ensure all aspects of restaurant operations run smoothly and effectively.
  • Evaluate and monitor customer service satisfaction, food quality and control, food preparation and inventory, sales performance, labor cost, food cost, and other expenses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
