This role requires a dynamic leader who understands the standards and integrity behind organic food, and who can successfully manage both hospitality and retail in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a General Manager in a restaurant.
  • Experience with organic, natural foods, or health-focused concepts strongly preferred.
  • Background in grocery, retail market, or specialty food operations is a major plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Proven experience managing financial performance (P&L).
  • Knowledge of inventory systems, vendor relations, and supply chain management.
  • Passion for organic living, sustainability, and clean food.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in organic or farm-to-table restaurant concepts.
  • Familiarity with organic certification standards and product sourcing.
  • Experience managing a hybrid restaurant + retail concept.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations in a organic restaurant
  • Ensure every dish and guest interaction reflects our commitment to organic, clean food standards
  • Lead, train, and develop a strong, values-driven team
  • Manage labor, scheduling, and daily operational execution
  • Drive financial performance including P&L, budgeting, and cost control
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and organic handling standards
  • Oversee organic market operations, including inventory, ordering, and product quality
  • Build and maintain relationships with organic, local, and specialty vendors
  • Execute merchandising strategies that highlight organic products and maximize sales
  • Analyze sales performance across both restaurant and retail and implement improvements
  • Foster a positive, high-energy, and team-oriented culture
