General Manager – Cinco Niño’s Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a General Manager for Cinco Niño’s. In this role, you’ll oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives on a day-to-day basis in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation of the restaurant’s dining room and kitchen areas. You’ll ensure exceptional guest experience through overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, from service quality to ambiance, while fostering a positive and motivated team culture that empowers associates to deliver their best.

Requirements

  • We do require that you have experience consisting of five years’ extensive managerial and supervisory experience as a Food and Beverage Director, General Manager, or Assistant General Manager of a high-volume restaurant or food and beverage operation.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls.
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing with guests, management, co-workers, and stakeholders.
  • Hands-on leadership is required.

Nice To Haves

  • General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations in a hotel or resort setting, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring high standards of service, quality, and efficiency through leadership.
  • Providing hands-on leadership to the restaurant and kitchen staff, offering support, guidance, and helping to resolve any challenges.
  • Responsible for managing both the revenue and (P&L) Profit & Loss of the restaurant.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to restaurant team as it strives to provide the highest quality standards and services.
