About The Position

PickleRage is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and motivated General Manager to lead our indoor pickleball club chain to new heights. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of club operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and driving the growth and success of our facility.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business related field; proven industry knowledge acceptable in lieu of degree
Minimum of 3 years of General Management experience, preferably in the sports and recreation industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
High level of energy and enthusiasm.
Must know how to operate off a P&L.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of pickleball or willingness to learn about the sport.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.
Effective communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations including staff supervision, facility maintenance, and scheduling of events and activities.
Create a welcoming and customer-focused environment for members and guests. Address inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure exceptional member experiences.
Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional strategies, including membership drives, events, and social media campaigns.
Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including coaches, pros and front-line personnel, to ensure a high level of service and professionalism.
Organize and oversee pickleball tournaments, leagues, clinics, and social events to engage members and attract new players.
Ensure the club's facilities and equipment are well-maintained and in excellent condition.
Foster relationships within the pickleball community, local businesses, and organizations to promote the club and the sport.
