The General Manager (GM) is assigned a regional area distribution center (DC) and serves as a key P&L leader within the company’s network and as a member of the leadership team, responsible for all commercial and operational matters related to their DC. The GM will establish the company’s presence in the area market, build a solid distribution operation aligned with established company policies and procedures, and assemble a core support team to grow and scale profitably. More specifically, the GM will be directly responsible for all functional areas of the area DC and associated satellite locations, including territory sales representatives, customer service, collections, and warehouse and last-mile delivery operations. The GM should possess key experiences in scaling new commercial and warehouse operations; recruiting and building new teams across relevant functions; and fostering an inclusive culture, managing change and developing processes.
