About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands is seeking a highly talented, dedicated, and quality-focused General Manager. This role involves overseeing the overall operation of a center, including risk management, teammate development, client metrics, production, and administration. The General Manager is responsible for rewarding, recognizing, and retaining talented teammates, monitoring current financial performance, and reviewing past financial metrics to identify opportunities and trends. A key aspect is ensuring vehicles are repaired thoroughly, safely, and profitably, adhering to Protech’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), insurance partners, and industry guidelines. Protech Automotive Solutions has been in business for over 20 years, handling various repairs from hands-on mechanical repair and replacement of suspension, drive modules and frames, to diagnostic opportunities that require advanced knowledge of complicated computerized vehicle control systems, as well as soft touch repair and replacement of delicate vehicle interior trim components. The company offers a fast-paced work environment with challenging advanced skill development, providing the latest computerized diagnostic equipment, factory diagnostic and programming software components, and tools. Requirements

  • 3+ years of Management Experience in the automotive industry or a mobile business
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be eligible for coverage under our company insurance policy
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
  • Advanced understanding of Estimates
  • Must have prior experience with OEM
  • Advance understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures, scanning process
  • Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
  • Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions

Responsibilities

  • Perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but is not limited to the overall operation of their center
  • Manage risk
  • Oversee teammate development
  • Manage client metrics
  • Oversee production
  • Handle administration
  • Reward, recognize, and retain talented teammates
  • Monitor current financial performance metrics
  • Review previous month’s financial metrics to identify opportunities and trends
  • Ensure teammates are repairing vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in a manner consistent with Protech’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), insurance partners and industry guidelines/standards
