About The Position

Tunnel Car Wash General Manager – Splash In Location: Ellicott City, MD Pay: $74,000 – $92,500 annually + up to 20% annual bonus Pay Type: Salaried | Benefits Eligible Operating Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM daily (additional time required for opening/closing procedures and occasional on-call support) Splash In ECO Car Wash is looking for a General Manager to lead operations at our Ellicott City location. If you enjoy leading teams, driving sales results, and delivering great customer experiences, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a high-performing car wash operation and help it grow. In this role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the wash, develop a strong team, drive membership sales, and ensure every guest receives a fast, clean, and friendly experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of leadership experience in car wash, retail, hospitality, and/or service operations.
  • Car wash operations experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Technical or mechanical experience related to equipment maintenance is a strong plus.
  • Strong sales, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily tunnel car wash operations including team leadership, membership sales, and guest experience.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Team Members.
  • Maintain operational uptime through preventative maintenance and quick resolution of equipment issues.
  • Drive membership sales and service revenue through strong customer engagement.
  • Manage financial performance including labor, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming facility for guests and team members.
  • Utilize POS systems and operational tools for reporting, payroll, scheduling, and inventory management.
