Food People Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced General Manager for TakoSushi in the CSRA (Aiken, Evans, Augusta) Market! The General Manager will be responsible for planning and directing all restaurant operations for one location. This role requires maintaining high standards of food, service, health and safety, and optimal utilization of staff and resources. The General Manager will ensure the efficient and profitable business performance of the restaurant, overseeing administration, sales, profitability, staffing, and training. In this position, the General Manager will oversee all Front of House, Sushi, and Back of House functions, including coaching and developing restaurant managers for success in their respective departments. Essential functions include leading, managing, and motivating the restaurant staff to promote a positive work environment and high-quality service. The General Manager will also be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising restaurant staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards. The role involves creating staff schedules, managing shifts, and allocating responsibilities efficiently. The General Manager will monitor financial performance by analyzing financial reports, controlling expenses, and maximizing revenue. Additionally, managing inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies while controlling costs and minimizing waste, is a key responsibility. Regular staff meetings will be conducted to communicate goals, updates, and address issues. The General Manager will handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly, resolving issues to ensure customer loyalty. Furthermore, the role includes accurately documenting Workers' Compensation and General Liability claims following established protocols and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement in the restaurant's operations. Upholding the restaurant's image and brand standards through exceptional leadership, communication, and professionalism is essential, as is maintaining consistent food and beverage quality through regular inspections and feedback.
