About The Position

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. The role requires ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, wage regulations, and fair employment practices. The position also emphasizes the importance of providing leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness, while fostering a cheerful and fun work environment that aligns with Firehouse Subs' culture and values.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure profitability by operating within established guidelines for food cost, labor, and sales growth.
  • Coordinate and implement current operations game plans and company initiatives.
  • Accountable for proper staffing and training of restaurant personnel.
  • Accountable for continuous training and development of Assistant Manager and Shift Managers.
  • Participate in Local Restaurant Marketing in the local trade area.
  • Implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule.
  • Maintain awareness and participation in community affairs for sales and public relations opportunities.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional manner at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner about any business-impacting issues.
  • Maintain restaurant equipment in working order and communicate problems to the Owner.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Owner.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $40,000 MIN PLUS BONUS
