About The Position

The General Manager is responsible for achieving the restaurant's annual sales and profit plan while overseeing daily operations and maintenance of the restaurant. This role involves managing all aspects of the restaurant, including operations, financial performance, staff development, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The General Manager recruits and trains staff, ensures quality standards, and drives marketing efforts to enhance the restaurant's performance.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality preferred.
• Minimum 5 years working in a restaurant environment with career progression.
• Minimum 3 years as a General Manager in a quick casual or quick serve environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and restaurant management systems.
• Ability to understand and analyze Profit & Loss statements.
• Strong guest service focus and ability to prioritize tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in high-volume restaurant management.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the restaurant's annual sales and profit plan.
• Direct daily operations and maintenance of the restaurant.
• Recruit and train staff, including Assistant Managers and hourly team members.
• Manage restaurant operations, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Evaluate performance and submit wage increases for hourly team members.
• Initiate disciplinary actions and make recommendations for terminations.
• Supervise and direct subordinate staff to ensure quality service.
• Conduct regular administrative tasks including payroll and inventory management.
• Respond to and resolve guest and employee complaints.
• Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions to stay current with certifications.
• Plan and implement local store marketing activities.
