This position is located in Monroe, Ohio, at a broadline facility with a Pizza/Italian focus. The role is responsible for effective operations within the OpCo, developing and implementing operating policies and procedures across various functions such as sales, customer service, quality control standards, purchasing, inventory control, materials management, distribution, and facilities maintenance and planning. The position involves conducting and reviewing the feasibility of new or revised systems and procedures, and it is responsible for all supply chain management functions within the OpCo. The role requires thorough involvement with sales, operations, procurement/marketing, customer service, and finance. Additionally, the position supervises senior-level staff at one or more locations and leads and manages the Vistar/Roma cheese organization. The individual is accountable for achieving established profit, Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA), sales growth, and other financial measures. The role includes planning and budgeting to achieve business objectives, coordinating functions between departments to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives, and directing the preparation of the annual Company budget. The individual will review reporting and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. They will also review operating results of the OpCo, compare them to established objectives, and take steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results. Furthermore, the position involves establishing operating policies consistent with PFG's broad policies and objectives and ensuring their execution. The individual will provide guidance, advice, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established PFG policies. The role requires ensuring that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood, maintaining leadership development practices that promote and provide for capable management succession, and promoting effective communication and adequate flow of information. The individual will represent the organization with customers, associates, vendors, the financial community, and the public. They will direct overall supply chain management within the OpCo to ensure attainment of departmental goals and objectives, evaluating the performance of staff members for compliance with established policies and objectives of the OpCo and their contributions in attaining those objectives. The position also involves monitoring and inspecting processes to oversee HACCP and SQF programs to ensure food safety is maintained to established levels. Other related duties may be assigned.
