About The Position

As a General Manager of Premium, you will lead the Premium Department team who create unforgettable experiences at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in food and beverage and/or sports & entertainment operational role.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership position preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred.
  • Requires knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills are needed, including knowledge of MS office products.
  • ServSafe Alcohol Certification, ServSafe food handler certification, and/or Title 4 Manager certification may be required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays based on event needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Premium department areas: Catering, Clubs, Suites, and In-Seats.
  • Supervise opening and closing procedures related to location readiness, staffing, sanitation, and operation documentation.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings with Premium teams to communicate event-specific goals, specials, and company updates.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or feedback in real time.
  • Ensure excellent guest experience across all Premium locations; resolve guest concerns or feedback promptly.
  • Address team performance issues, corrective action, and counseling.
  • Develop and lead operations managers, supervisors, and hourly staff through performance management and mentorship programs.
  • Maintaining positive guest relationships including obtaining regular feedback through table visits, event oversight, and executing show quality standards across all areas of the Premium department.
  • Promotes a positive work environment through hiring/selection of team members, maximizing productivity and morale through team member engagement, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels per business needs
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Enforce safety standards and food safety compliance, including proper food handling, cross contamination prevention, equipment usage, cleanliness, and maintaining safe food temperatures.
  • Oversee inventory management by managing stock levels; complete production logs, monitor portion control and waste/spoilage/gratis logs.
  • Oversee inventory counts daily and monthly; participate in month end inventory procedures.
  • Complete post-event reconciliation, polling, tip payments, and daily payroll for employees.
  • Assist with accurate labor forecasting and labor efficiency.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members; including department training.
  • Ensure compliance with all Levy policies, procedures, and Core Signatures.
  • Enforce Responsible Alcohol Service, Cash Handling Integrity, Safety, and Time Clock compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Supports other Levy locations/properties as needed.
