About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager of Finance & Accounting to lead our financial operations. This role involves overseeing financial management, accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, cash flow management, department leadership, and systems improvement. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, ensure compliance, and drive financial performance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Experience consolidating financial statements and managing external audits.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central ERP.
  • Background in manufacturing or distribution.
  • Ability to present ideas effectively to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Present the company's financial status to executive leadership.
  • Direct financial affairs, including preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
  • Develop and interpret financial data to assess fiscal health.
  • Provide financial reports for stakeholders, including external auditors and public authorities.
  • Advise on financial improvements and implement approved actions.
  • Ensure the company is not exposed to significant financial risks.
  • Supervise accounting operations, including the preparation of financial statements and maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with standards and legal requirements.
  • Lead budgeting and financial forecasting activities.
  • Oversee tax planning and reporting to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage cash flow and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Finance and Accounting Department.
  • Prepare and process payroll for executives and expatriates.
  • Lead initiatives to improve financial practices and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support financial sustainability.
