About The Position

The General Manager at Nalley Hyundai is responsible for overseeing the dealership's operations, ensuring high performance in sales and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong leader who can develop and motivate staff, maintain relationships with manufacturers and lending institutions, and drive results in a high-volume automotive environment.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of automotive experience highly preferred.
  • Experience as an automotive General Manager required.
  • Strong used car management skills required.
  • Proven track record in automotive retail industry as a General Sales Manager, New Car Manager, Finance Director, or Used Car Manager.
  • Excellent CSI history and ability to hold staff accountable for results.
  • Strong asset management skills required.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test).

Responsibilities

  • Lead from the front lines and consistently work the sales desk.
  • Hire, train, and motivate all department managers.
  • Assist sales managers in meeting volume commitments to the manufacturer.
  • Develop monthly and annual goals with managers and review performance.
  • Maintain good working relationships with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel.
  • Communicate management policies and procedures to all team members.
  • Motivate, reward, and train employees to build morale.
  • Ensure that the CIT list is resolved before deadlines.
  • Lead by example and embody the company's core values.
