About The Position

Requirements

• Active cosmetology license in the state of application.
• 2+ years of salon and retail experience.
• 2+ years of operational management experience.
• 2+ years of experience supervising team members and participating in hiring and training.
• Strong technical proficiency as a colorist.
• Proven track record of exceeding operational and performance metrics.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and develop leadership skills to enhance employee and guest experiences.
• Lead by example in sales and service interactions, resolving guest service issues.
• Ensure all business operations are adequately staffed and resourced, adhering to company procedures.
• Master all services provided at the Hair Color Bar and assist behind the chair as needed.
• Support district operations by training new managers and providing on-site assistance as required.
• Achieve monthly sales goals and key performance indicators, including retail sales and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and security of company assets at the Hair Color Bar.
• Master all Madison Reed systems, policies, and procedures.
• Coach and develop team members to enhance team culture and performance.
• Manage recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and performance management of team members.
• Create employee schedules based on business needs and compliance with labor laws.
