About The Position
Red Ventures is seeking a General Manager of Insurance to support the Insurance business, reporting directly to the Head of Insurance. This role is pivotal in shaping the long-term strategic vision of the entire Red Ventures insurance business. The General Manager will be responsible for making decisions that impact all critical aspects of the business, including sales operations, marketing, financial management, partnerships, and potentially the launch of new business initiatives. The position requires a hybrid work schedule, with in-office work at the Fort Mill, SC headquarters from Tuesday to Thursday, and remote work on Mondays and Fridays. In this role, you will align with strategic carrier partners, leveraging your industry expertise to enhance the consumer user journey. You will own daily operational responsibilities, including full P&L management, and develop and lead a diverse team of insurance professionals across various functions such as product, growth marketing, engineering, and creative. The General Manager will also lead conversations with internal and external partners to drive growth in the overall insurance vertical at Red Ventures. Monitoring performance to ensure that critical business metrics are consistently met or exceeded is a key responsibility, along with providing direction and supporting data to improve digital flows on-site. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated success in leading high-performance digital teams in a hyper-growth environment and possess a desire to work hands-on in a performance-based, analytically driven, fast-paced environment. Collaboration and strategic direction across various technical and creative teams will be essential to the role.
