About The Position

Big Red F Restaurant Group (West End Tavern, Centro, The Post, Jax Fish House) is looking for a passionate restaurant professional to be a foundational member of our leadership team as a General Manager in Development for future locations in Northern Colorado. We are a growing group that is 'building a bench' and looking for a General Manager who is flexible across brands and will grow with our group. It's an opportunity to lead in new developing locations in NoCo and to serve as GM in a current location to train and master 'the ropes'. Requirements

Ability to challenge, develop and lead a crew of restaurant managers who exhibit selfless hospitality, are cool under pressure and are eager to learn in a fun, fast paced environment.
Ensuring that all guests and staff feel welcomed home, dispensing extraordinary hospitality that is lively, warm, attentive and conscientious.
Wine, beer, spirits and cocktail geeks with the skills to teach and inspire others
Extensive food knowledge - service, preparation, ingredients, regional and international cuisines, food and beverage pairing
Restaurant communication skills that are exhaustive, and equally compelling verbally or written
Minimum of 5 years in a hospitality management or restaurant leadership role
Developing finance skills with an understanding of weekly budgets, P&Ls, costed menus and schedules
TIPS, ServSafe Manager (we’ll provide training!)
Handle the physical requirements of a restaurant manager job which includes bending, reaching, standing for long periods of time and carrying and lifting heavy and really hot stuff!
Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
Integrity, intelligence, honesty and a willingness to learn, dig in, and be world famous

Nice To Haves

Cicerone, Sommelier Certification and/or experience with Agave or Barley, Rye based spirits is a PLUS!
Experience with events, catering and a multi faceted operation is a plus.
