The General Manager is responsible for achieving overall store sales goals and service objectives while managing and growing professional customer relationships. This includes building and holding the team accountable for executing customer action plans, selecting, hiring, developing, and managing the performance of store team members. The General Manager ensures the execution of all inventory and operational standards and coaches all team members to deliver on customer expectations, both DIY and professional. The role also includes manager on duty responsibilities such as coaching, floor and phone management, task assignment and completion, safety, and opening/closing duties. The General Manager must be able to lead change management and foster a respectful environment for both customers and team members.
